Jon Kabat-Zinn defines mindfulness as “awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally.” In therapy, we will talk about how you can apply and practice mindfulness in your life. We will learn and practice techniques for learning to be present and calming the mind. Being present is the key to clarity and then change.
